Chris Vermaak, SASC, is a camera and Steadicam operator and cinematographer based in Cape Town, South Africa.   

With decades of camera experience, Chris's operating skills and technical know-how are matched only by his uncanny ability to consistently find and deliver beautiful (and sometimes impossible) shots - seemingly effortlessly.  

His love for his craft, sharp wit and deep respect for his fellow humans makes Chris Vermaak a favoured choice for directors, DOPs and producers alike, both locally and internationally.  

When he's not working he's playing one of his many guitars or doing yoga, or the dishes.
